muir woods

Ben and I have several day trip adventures that we would love to do, but because I work on Saturdays they just haven't been possible.  We both were off of work on July 5th and we just had to take one of our trips!

Marin County/Muir Woods.

We stopped in Mill Valley for some excellent fish tacos.  I am totally on a taco kick this summer.

And then we went to Muir Woods National Monument to hike.  It was so beautiful there!  So green and moist because of the Bay Area fog.  Most of the 3 mile hike was in the shade too, so, uh, that was awesome!

After hiking, we drove a little ways on beautiful Highway 1 to Stinson Beach for our picnic dinner.
