Our last day at Disney! We were all sorts of sad. We've had the best year going to Disneyland . . Jake and I went a total of 20 times. We will always be a Disney family after this year.

The Little Mermaid Live at The Hollywood Bowl
While this day was the worst day that Ben & I have had in a looonnnngggg time, we had a great evening at the Hollywood Bowl! Sara Bareilles played Ariel, John Stamos played Sebastien, and Rebel Wilson played Ursula - they were fantastic. I'd never seen The Little Mermaid before (thanks, Mom) so it was all new to me and it was SO good and so much fun. Plus, The Hollywood Bowl is a sight to behold.

Disneyland - June 2
Disneyland has been SUCH a fun part of our life here in Los Angeles. I have also thoroughly enjoyed my friendship with Nicole and am glad that we could go together one last time!
The Disney Jr. Live show was pretty cute . . Jacob particularly loved it when "gold coins" rained down from the ceiling . . he loved rolling in them and playing with them and tackling the other audience members.
All that rambunctiousness can wear a boy out!
The Baby Care Center has been our saving grace! Diaper changes, nursing, and high chairs!

Watching Airplanes
Here in LA we live really close to two airports - LAX, which I would love to take Jacob to to watch the planes land, and the Santa Monica airport, which is a much more reasonable drive of about 1 mile. :) Ben was out of town a couple of weekends ago so Buddy & I packed up to spend the afternoon at the Santa Monica Airport Park. I don't know that Jake was super interested in the planes taking off and landing (we saw so many!), but I thought it was cool.
Then we watched the doggies run around the dog park.
And played on the sandy playground.
Jake even got to ride a plane!
