Jacob: Two Months

Two months already?  Could time pass any faster!  Ben & I fall more in love with our little Jacob more and more each day,

At two months, Jacob:

Gives lots of social smiles and a few sweet coo's

Is a sleeping champ (most of the time), typically sleeping from around 11 PM to 5 AM.  But, once he's up at 5, he's up.  Mom had better become a morning person!

Is not a good napper - he'll nap if held or in the swing, but in his crib?  Not a chance.

Weighs 12 lbs 12 oz and fits perfectly in 0-3 month size clothing and size 1 diapers

Nurses well, and for 2-3 hours each day - but only on Mom's left side!  He completely refuses the right side.  The pediatrician says he has Torticollis, so we are doing some stretches and physical therapy.

Loves Grammy & Grandpa Rowan, Uncle Doug, Uncle Tommy, and especially Aunt Emily!  Jake & I are staying with Mom's parents for June & July while Dad is in Minnesota interning with General Mills.

Is beginning to become interested in the world around him - people, his hands, his play gym, etc.

Was a champion getting his 2-month vaccinations

Takes after Dad in that: he is a morning person, he sweats a lot, he has a bad neck, seems to be very even-keel, and loves having his diaper changed (apparently Dad did too)

We are all just in love!
